Jarling tracks sprouting jars: it counts the growing days, reminds you to rinse, and keeps a record of how each batch turned out.

Common questions
Can I log a rinse at a time that isn't scheduled?
Yes, always. Tapping Rinse records one at the current time and credits it to whichever scheduled slot it is closest to — so an evening rinse fills the evening slot even if you missed the morning one. The button is never disabled because of the clock.
What is an "extra rinse"?
Once every scheduled slot for the day is filled, further rinses are recorded as extras and shown separately, for example "+1 extra". They are kept in your history but do not change the day's target.
I tapped Rinse by accident.
An Undo button appears for a few seconds after every rinse. If it has already gone, open the jar and use "Undo last rinse".
My reminders aren't arriving.
- Check that notifications are allowed for Jarling in your device's system settings.
- In Jarling's Settings, confirm Notifications is on.
- Check the individual reminder types — rinse, soak, and harvest alerts can each be turned off.
- Open the jar and confirm "Reminders for this jar" is on; it can be switched off per jar.
- Reminders do not fire while a jar is still soaking.
Can I change a jar after starting it?
Yes. Open the jar and tap any value — name, sprout, start date, rinse schedule, or harvest window — to edit it. Moving the start date shifts the day count and the harvest window with it.
I finished a jar by mistake.
Open it from History and choose "Reopen this jar". It returns to Today with its history intact and starts counting days again.
How do I move my jars to a new phone?
On the old device, go to Settings → Export backup and save the file somewhere you can reach from the new one. On the new device, use Settings → Restore backup and pick that file. Restoring replaces everything currently in the app, so it asks for confirmation first.
Where is my data kept?
Entirely on your device. Jarling has no account and no server. See the privacy policy for detail.
Can I grow something that isn't in the list?
Yes. Choose "Custom" when starting a jar, give it a name, and set the soak time, rinse schedule, and harvest window yourself.
Food safety
Jarling provides reminders and general growing guidance. It is not a food-safety test and cannot detect mould, bacteria, or spoilage. Sprouts can carry harmful bacteria even when they look and smell normal. Inspect every batch yourself, follow local food-safety advice, and take extra care for anyone at higher risk. When in doubt, discard the jar.

常见问题
可以在计划之外的时间记录冲洗吗？
可以，随时都能记录。点击「冲洗」会按当前时间记录一次，并归入距离最近的那个计划时段——所以晚上的冲洗会记到晚间时段，即使早上那次漏掉了。按钮不会因为时间原因而失效。
什么是「额外冲洗」？
当天所有计划时段都完成后，再记录的冲洗会作为额外冲洗单独显示，例如「额外 +1」。它们会保留在历史记录中，但不会改变当天的目标次数。
我误点了「冲洗」。
每次记录后都会出现「撤销」按钮，持续几秒。如果已经消失，可以打开这一罐，使用「撤销上次冲洗」。
收不到提醒怎么办？
- 确认系统设置中已允许 Jarling 发送通知。
- 在 Jarling 的设置中确认「通知」已开启。
- 检查各类提醒：冲洗、浸泡完成和收获提醒都可以单独关闭。
- 打开对应的罐子，确认「这一罐的提醒」已开启，它可以按罐关闭。
- 罐子仍在浸泡阶段时不会发送冲洗提醒。
开始之后还能修改罐子吗？
可以。打开罐子后点按任意数值即可修改——名称、品种、开始日期、冲洗计划或收获期。修改开始日期会同时调整天数和建议收获期。
我误把一罐标记为结束了。
在历史记录中打开它，选择「重新开启这一罐」。它会带着原有记录回到「今天」，并继续计算天数。
如何把记录迁移到新手机？
在旧设备上进入「设置 → 导出备份」，把文件保存到新设备也能访问的位置。在新设备上使用「设置 → 恢复备份」并选择该文件。恢复会替换 App 中现有的全部内容，因此会先请你确认。
我的数据保存在哪里？
完全保存在你的设备上。Jarling 没有账号也没有服务器。详见隐私政策。
可以培育列表里没有的品种吗？
可以。开始新的一罐时选择「自定义」，为它起个名字，并自行设置浸泡时长、冲洗计划和收获期。
食品安全
Jarling 提供提醒和一般性培育建议，不是食品安全检测工具，无法检测霉菌、细菌或腐败。芽苗即使外观和气味正常，也可能携带有害细菌。请自行检查每一批，遵循当地食品安全建议，高风险人群应更加谨慎。无法确认时，请丢弃整罐。
